Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to an accessible website and to kitchens that work for the people staffing them.
Updated September 22, 2026
Kitchen Services of the Palm Beaches Inc is committed to making kitchenpalmbeach.site usable by as many people as possible, including visitors who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
1. Our Standard
We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, which explain how to make web content more accessible to people with visual, hearing, cognitive and motor disabilities.
2. What We Have Implemented
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure on every page
- A skip to main content link for keyboard and screen reader users
- Labels on every form field, with errors shown in text rather than color alone
- Visible keyboard focus styles on links, buttons and form controls
- Color combinations chosen for readable contrast
- Responsive layouts that work with zoom and on small screens without horizontal scrolling
- Accessible labels on project filter controls and social links
- Pricing and equipment tables built with proper header cells for screen readers
3. Accessible Kitchen Design
Accessibility is a design consideration in the kitchens themselves, both for staff and for public facing areas. We regularly design and build with:
- Work surface heights suited to the staff who will use them, including lowered prep stations where requested
- Knee clearance under sinks and work surfaces where a seated work position is needed
- Aisle widths that accommodate mobility devices as well as two people passing
- Lever and D shaped hardware that is easier to grip than knobs
- Controls and shutoffs positioned within accessible reach ranges
- Pull out shelving instead of deep fixed shelving
- Flooring specified for slip resistance as well as cleanability
- Front of house service counters with an accessible height section, coordinated to the ADA requirements for your space
If accessibility for a specific staff member or for public areas is a goal, tell us at the consultation and we will design around it. For public accommodation compliance we coordinate with your architect where a formal review is required.
4. Need Assistance?
If anything on this site prevents you from requesting a quote or finding information, call or email and a team member will assist you directly, including taking your full project details by phone.
- Phone: (770) 304 1442, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Email: info@kitchenpalmbeach.site
5. Language
Palm Beach County food service is a multilingual industry. If English is not the language you are most comfortable conducting business in, tell us when you call and we will do our best to accommodate you, including for drawings review and contract discussion.
6. Ongoing Work And Feedback
Accessibility is continuous rather than a one time project. We review pages as content changes and correct issues as they are found. Third party content such as embedded maps and social feeds is governed by its own provider. We welcome reports of barriers and aim to respond within two business days.
